Rough Terrain Forklifts

BRENNER CPCD35Y (3.5t) and CPCD50Y (5t) rough terrain forklifts — 4WD, high ground clearance, differential lock. Specs and options for dealers and contractors.

If your job site has mud, gravel, or uneven ground, a standard warehouse forklift simply won’t cut it. That’s where a rough terrain forklift earns its keep — and BRENNER’s CPCD-Y series is built specifically for that job.

We currently offer two models in this line: the CPCD35Y (3.5-tonne capacity) and the CPCD50Y (5-tonne capacity). Both share the same design philosophy — full-time four-wheel drive, a differential lock, and high ground clearance — but scale up in power, size, and payload to match different job requirements.

Where these forklifts work

    • Pallet handling on unpaved construction sites
    • Outdoor yards and industrial compounds
    • Farm and yard transport
    • Loading and unloading beyond paved warehouse floors

Popular options (both models): electronic gear shift, hydraulic side shift, A/C, reverse camera, solid tires, taller masts (4–4.5 m), clamps (flat/round), pusher, tipping fork, rotator, extended fork tines up to 2.0 m.

CPCD35Y — the compact all-rounder

The CPCD35Y lifts up to 3,500 kg and is powered by a Yunnei 42 kW engine paired with a Jinlite 265 transmission for smooth, consistent drive. Its rear-wheel steering gives an 80° steering angle and a tight 3,600 mm turning radius — useful in confined yards. The standard 2-stage mast lifts to 3 m, with 1.22 m forks and optional longer tines.

CPCD50Y — more power, more payload

Step up to the CPCD50Y and you get a 5,000 kg rated capacity, driven by a turbocharged Yunnei 76 kW engine and a Jinlite 280 transmission with high/low speed ranges. Instead of rear-wheel steering, it uses articulated rear steering (45°) — a setup better suited to a heavier chassis and larger footprint. Ground clearance jumps to 280 mm, and the reinforced cast-steel axles are built with wheel hub reduction for heavier-duty use.

Built for the ground beneath them

Both machines share the traits that make them “rough terrain” rather than warehouse equipment:

  • Full-time 4WD for consistent traction on loose or rutted surfaces
  • Differential lock to keep power going to the wheel with grip
  • Semi-solid 16/70-24 and 20.5/70-16 tires, puncture-resistant and suited to debris-heavy sites
  • High ground clearance relative to warehouse forklifts, reducing the risk of grounding out

Customization and attachments

Both models can be configured with a wide range of options: electronic gear shift, hydraulic side shift, air conditioning, reverse camera, solid tires, taller masts (4–4.5 m, 2- or 3-stage), and attachments including flat clamps, round clamps, pushers, tipping forks, and rotators. Fork tines are available in extended lengths up to 2.0 m.

Support for dealers and project buyers

BRENNER supports model selection, attachment configuration, colour and branding, OEM/ODM builds, batch supply, and after-sales coordination — for dealers, rental fleets, contractors, and project buyers alike.

Which one fits your operation? If you’re moving lighter loads on tighter sites, the CPCD35Y’s compact footprint and rear-wheel steering will serve you well. If you need more lifting capacity and are working on larger, harder terrain, the CPCD50Y’s power and articulated steering are built for the job.
