bauma 2026: the world’s biggest stage for construction equipment

bauma CHINA 2026 opens in Shanghai on November 23–27: one of Asia’s leading trade fairs for construction and mining machinery

Beijing XLHJ International is heading to Shanghai for bauma CHINA 2026. Our management team will meet manufacturers, review new equipment and discuss supply terms at one of the industry’s key events.

bauma CHINA has been held every two years since 2002 as the China edition of Germany’s bauma. It covers construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery, construction vehicles and equipment. The fair draws on the global bauma network across Europe, Asia and South America, helping Chinese companies go global and international companies enter China.

A new format: one fair, two venues. In 2026 the fair is held for the first time at two venues in Pudong, and the organizers promise record scale:

  • Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), November 24–27. The trade core of the fair: 12 main sectors cover construction, mining and building material machinery, drive and fluid technology, components and services. This is the place for sourcing equipment and procurement talks.
  • Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC), November 23–26. The technology hub: forums on technological innovation, overseas expansion, green electrification and next-generation mining, plus live equipment demonstrations and remote-control experiences. The organizers describe the format as “exhibition + forums + hands-on experience”.

Results of the previous edition (2024):

  • 330,000 m² of exhibition space;
  • 3,542 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions;
  • 281,488 trade visitors from 188 countries and regions;
  • over 20% of visitors from outside China.

For us, bauma CHINA 2026 is a chance to see equipment in person, meet manufacturers and discuss direct supply for customers in Africa, Europe, the CIS and Latin America. If you plan to visit and would like to meet us in Shanghai, please get in touch in advance.
